Refreshing Mango Mojito with Golden Drop Cello
Looking for a refreshing tropical cocktail that's perfect for warm Australian days? This Mango Mojito combines fresh mango, zesty lime, sparkling soda, and your choice of Golden Drop Mango Cello, Lime Cello, or Mandarin Cello to create a vibrant twist on the classic mojito.
Traditionally made with Cachaça or rum, this version uses Golden Drop's handcrafted fruit cellos, giving the cocktail a unique Australian flavour that's fruity, refreshing, and easy to make at home.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 2 teaspoons unrefined cane sugar
- A handful of crushed ice
- Soda water
- 30–45ml Golden Drop Mango Cello, Lime Cello, or Mandarin Cello
Serves: 1
Method
- Place the lime wedges and cane sugar into a sturdy glass.
- Using a wooden muddler or the back of a wooden spoon, gently muddle the ingredients until the lime juice is released and the sugar begins to dissolve.
- Add your preferred Golden Drop Cello and continue stirring to combine the flavours.
- Blend the ripe mango into a smooth purée and pour it into the glass.
- Add a generous handful of crushed ice.
- Top with chilled soda water and stir gently.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves, a slice of lime, or diced mango before serving.
Serving Tips
For an extra refreshing finish, chill your glass before preparing the cocktail. Fresh mint leaves add a classic mojito aroma, while ripe seasonal mangoes create the sweetest flavour. Experiment with different Golden Drop Cellos to create your own signature Mango Mojito.
